Inventory Coordinator Jobs

Salon Resource Group represents 20 salons operating under six diverse brands: The Head Shoppe, HS Studio SalonSpa, Brilliante by the Head Shoppe, Vitality Medi Spa, and Vibe Salon Medi-Spa, as well as the HDC Hair & Esthetics School of Cosmetology. With over 400 associates throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, we are the largest single employer of beauty professionals in Atlantic Canada. We are looking for a highly organized, task-oriented individual to join our corporate office team in the role of Inventory Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on inventory performance and provide recommendations on rectifying any areas of concern.
• Provide analytical results on the performance of SKU’s.
• Ensure location inventory levels are correct and in alignment with budget and sales.
• Provide training and education to multiple locations on the full process as it relates to ordering, receiving inventory and/or the transferring of Inventory.
• Adding new Retail and Service Codes into POS system, along with proper costing.
• Provide training and education to multiple locations on the full process as it relates to the physical counting of inventory along with an analysis of the overall count results.
• Outsource new suppliers to ensure the companies maximize buying power.
• Maintain and update the Inventory Training Manual to ensure all locations have a current version.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School graduate.
• Previous inventory experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be dependable and able to meet strict deadlines.
• Highly organized.
• Ability to produce consistency in paperwork and work effectively within the team as well as independently.
