Job Description
We are looking for an Inventory Coordinator to manage and maintain accurate records of our company's inventory levels. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the inventory management system, ensuring that all inventory levels are accurate, and that inventory is well-organized and easy to locate. This role will require strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities


  • Perform such other duties that may be assigned as required
  • Monitor inventory levels through cycle counting and order materials, supplies, and products as needed to maintain adequate levels of inventory.
  • Adhere to the Norwood Values
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as Receiving, Fulfillment and Production, to ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Investigate inventory variances to better understand the root cause of the variance, and work with the appropriate departments to prevent reoccurrence
  • Assist with the implementation of new inventory management processes and systems.
  • Continuously monitor inventory metrics to ensure inventory levels are in line with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports, analyzing data and making recommendations for inventory control improvements.


Requirements


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities


  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy inventory items as needed
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • 2 or more years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
