Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Inventory and Logistics Coordinator to join our client's team in Etobicoke, ON. As an integral part of the Transport, Postal, and Warehousing industry, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, coordinating logistics operations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This is a full-time role with a competitive annual salary of $55,000.

Detailed :

• Ensure daily shipping of all orders through Rubicon to facilitate the closure of consignments in collaboration with the finance team.
• Provide support for monthly stock counts to reconcile physical counts of commodities and packaging.
• Collaborate with carriers to ensure on-time deliveries, particularly for West loads.
• Communicate with customers to inform them of any potential delays or early deliveries.
• Liaise with third-party shipping companies to provide updates on daily shipments and truck arrivals.
• Daily management of shipments, including booking trucks and coordinating deliveries.
• Schedule and book appointments at customer depots on a daily basis.
• Update inventory records and provide management with inventory reports three times a week.
• Coordinate with the packhouse to ensure loads are packed in the correct order (First In, First Out).
• Monitor costs and work closely with carriers to reduce wait times and optimize logistics expenses.
• Obtain quotes from trucking companies for new and existing programs.
• Regularly monitor inventory to ensure accuracy, particularly for packed loads.
• Provide management with cost information for logistics bids on new and existing programs.
• Utilize the company's operating system (Rubicon) to accurately ship all sales orders and maintain stock accuracy.
• Assist in conducting weekly commodities and packing counts to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Review all documentation sent by suppliers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Create releases in the shipping company's system for all products.
