Job Summary

The Illuminate Universe Summer Internship will provide comprehensive knowledge of our operations, clients, and internal strategies. Interns will delve into the intricacies of our operations, gain insights into our clients and internal strategies, and develop a deep understanding of their pivotal role in the team's overall success.

As a summer intern, you will actively contribute to expanding our customer base by effectively promoting our brand, mission, and compelling narrative. In addition, you will engage with diverse student groups, organize impactful events, and refine our prospecting techniques to optimize conversion rates.

Interns will also receive mentorship and career preparation coaching from experienced professionals who have secured internships with Fortune 100 companies. This valuable guide will help navigate the competitive landscape of Fortune 100 internships.

We also provide a training program that equips interns with the necessary skills for a successful career in management and professional sales. Upon completion, interns can expect a clear career trajectory, empowering them to shape their own futures.

This position is part-time with the option to work in-person or remotely. It will last for 1-2 months.

Key Responsibilities

Mentorship to High School Students:

• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that empowers students to develop their leadership and business skills.
• Provide strong mentorship and guidance skills to support high school students participating in Illuminate Universe programs.
• Collaborate with the team to design and deliver engaging learning experiences and workshops that inspire student growth and development.

Marketing Communications:

• Create compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media platforms, blogs, and newsletters.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies to effectively promote Illuminate Universe programs.
• Conduct market research, analyze data, and identify emerging trends to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and reach.

Project Coordination and Management:

• Assist in coordinating and managing multiple projects within Illuminate Universe, ensuring their smooth execution and timely completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identify potential issues or roadblocks, and propose effective solutions to ensure project success.

Business Trends Analysis:

• Conduct thorough research and analysis to provide valuable insights and support business decision-making and strategy development.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data to generate comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Identify areas for improvement within Illuminate Universe operations and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Curriculum Development:

• Analyze feedback data to identify areas of improvement and make informed decisions to enhance program quality and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create engaging and effective learning resources for high school students.
• Feedback Collection and Analysis:
• Implement feedback collection mechanisms, such as surveys, to gather input from students, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of curriculum materials for Illuminate Universe programs.

Qualifications:

• A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Current university student pursuing a degree in a related field (e.g., business, marketing, education).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and graphic design platforms.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
