Role Overview
Proof Experiences is looking for a talented Intermediate level Graphic Designer with a minimum 4+ years’ experience to join our dynamic Creative Team in Toronto. We need a passionate Designer with a versatile portfolio in print & digital, with a strong sense of composition, colour, layout and type.
Working at Proof Experiences covers a wide variety of disciplines that include experiential & events, digital, social, brand development, and more. We are a growing team of Creatives who are looking for more good humans willing to have fun while creating amazing work for our roster of top brands & clients.
If that sounds like you, and you end up as the successful candidate, you will report to the Executive Creative Director and will contribute to elevating the quality of the team’s creative output across a range of interesting project & campaign work.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and adhere to timelines for multiple projects in a fast-paced, yet fun & supportive environment, and effectively prioritize workload.
- Present your work internally with confidence, with the flexibility to accept constructive criticism and meet internal and client expectations
- Conceptualize, craft, prepare and roll out creative for traditional and digital assets, including signage, brochures, banners, vehicle wraps, social media posts, website layout, event graphics, presentation decks, emails, packaging, POS, OOH, digital screens, etc.
- Interpret and understand creative briefs while providing recommendations for the best creative approach to meet the ask.
- Build PowerPoint templates and design; editable Word templates may be required from time to time
- Contribute to researching clients, their competitors, industry and design trends
- Photo retouching and editing as needed
- Communicate and collaborate with colleagues to acquire additional information, clarify issues and solve problems
- Create exceptional work, on time, on budget

What you’ve done:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Comfortable designing and formatting in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, yeah we know… but it’s our reality)
- Some knowledge of digital design process and best practices, including image optimization (no 300DPI images for web, please!), responsive design; basic Figma and/or Adobe XD, UX/UI design considered an asset
- Strong production experience to accurately lay out creative in a range of print and digital formats
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Ability to pick up a job at any point from brief to archive
- Experience designing for events (live or virtual) is an asset
- Strong typesetting skills
- 4+ years of industry experience with a versatile portfolio of work (please send us yours!)
- A proven understanding of design, colour, composition and typography principles
- College diploma or degree in Graphic Design or relevant experience

Salary: $60,000-70,000 (depending on experience)
