Intermediate Business Analyst Jobs

We are looking for an intermediate business analyst to join our team. As a business analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and analyzing business problems, conducting research, developing recommendations, and supporting the implementation of solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, business process improvement, and project management.

Responsibilities:

• Support project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
• Conduct research and analysis of business problems to identify key issues and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test new processes and systems
• Create and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and test plans
• Develop recommendations for business process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope
• Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making
• Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of implemented solutions
• Assist with change management activities, including training, communication, and adoption strategies

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst or similar role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Legally able to work in Canada
• Able to be on site in the lower mainland
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL)
• Experience in process mapping and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
