Intermediate Qa Analyst [Bhjob13022_12804]

On behalf of our client in Burnaby, Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a QA Analyst with our client for a 6 month contract opportunity.

Role Description: Our Client is looking for an QA Analyst to plan, develop, and run test cases for the implementation and sustainment of SaaS and COTS applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support defect tracking & triage meetings
• Define test strategy and create test plans
• Execute test plans and test scripts; maintain test case library
• Support the troubleshooting of issues
• Assist in the implementation of QA standards and continual improvement activities
• Translate functional and technical requirements into test scenarios and test cases
• Maintain defect tracking logs, working with sustainment and project teams to prioritize and evaluate resolution options and defect support through to resolution
• Build UAT scripts and facilitate UAT with business SMEs
• Ensure that all functional requirements are met

Requirements

• Dynamics or Power Platform experience
• 2+ years working in agile development lifecycle
• Ability to define test plans and test cases for Functional Testing, Integration Testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and Performance/Stress Testing; ability to execute testing and reporting of test results
• Experience using contract management applications, business intelligence applications, and/or financial applications
• Experience working for public or non-profit agencies is an asset
• A recognized degree or certificate in Business Administration, Computer Science or MIS.
• Experience using automated testing tools such as Katalon, Neoload, Apache Jmeter
• 3+ years of experience of quality assurance and software testing
• Experience building automated test scripts
• Effective communication skills
• Azure DevOps
