  • Maintaining awareness of emerging trends or solicitations in online investment discussion groups/forums as well as emerging trends with crypto trading platforms and crypto assets
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, to take initiative, and to set and deliver on priorities.
  • Collecting, summarizing and interpreting information to produce intelligence aimed at advancing operations and investigations, generating leads and identifying possible breaches of securities laws.
  • Leveraging technical tools to conduct proactive intelligence-collection relating to investment-related misconduct.
  • Initiating and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as appropriate external agencies, to gather and disseminate information and analysis.
  • Preparing comprehensive analytical packages, briefs and assessments of timely securities issues.
  • Maintaining a strong, collaborative provincial and national presence within the securities and law enforcement intelligence community, in conjunction with other team members.
  • An understanding of capital markets and securities, ideally including the application of blockchain technology in financial markets and products.
  • Previous experience in writing and presenting tactical recommendations and/or intelligence briefings is preferred.
