We are currently seeking an Analyst, Low Carbon Technology to join our Intelligence team. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing sector. 

Performance Objectives 

As an Analyst, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, geologists, and financial analysts to publish investment research for clients focused on CCUS, geothermal, direct lithium extraction, hydrogen, renewable fuels aa other relevant technologies. Examples of the research you could undertake include operator benchmarking, technology evaluations, the impacts of regulatory and policy changes and economic assessments. The ideal candidate can provide independent technical analysis and execution while leading team initiatives, including client calls and in-person roadshows.

Spearhead the analysis of large data sets to identify trends, characterize opportunities, value assets, and generate opinions on market activity using internal workflows built in Enverus Prism™.

Interpret policy and regulatory changes related to low carbon technologies and their impact on the sector.

+

Develop specialized economic models critical for formulating opinions on CCUS, geothermal, direct lithium extraction, hydrogen, renewable fuels and underlying policy. Identify and incorporate useful new sources of information including investor documents, government, and industry datasets.

Publish actionable investment research that helps our clients make better capital allocation decisions.

+

Collaborate with members of the product team to enhance and create new datasets and workflows within the Enverus Prism™ platform.

Lead conference calls and in-person meetings with clients and prospects, leveraging or demonstrate Enverus Intelligence™ and Enverus Prism™ solutions to help answer some of the most challenging questions facing industry and investors today.

Partner with Intelligence, Sales, and Customer Success teammates to build and maintain strong relationships with and in support of clients.

Competitive Candidate Profile

+

3-5 years of experience in a technical, research or analyst role in the energy sector.

+

Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer or Actuarial Science, or a related field

+

Understand the fundamentals and/or economic analysis of key decarbonization technologies.

+

Demonstrated ability to synthesize actionable analysis from large, dynamic data sets.

+

Ambition to work collaboratively on an interdisciplinary team of subject matter experts with a steep learning curve and commitment to career development.

+

Proven problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze and concisely articulate complex ideas through writing and verbal presentations.

Self-motivated with a strong desire to develop a deep understanding of the technologies and companies driving the energy transition and to become the leading expert in this field.

Has a can-do attitude along with a deep sense of curiosity.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
