At Robertson, motivated students can advance their education by studying online or via hybrid delivery - 10 or 20 hours per week. The Robertson team assists students while in program and after graduation to ensure they have the tools they need to succeed in a new career. Robertson team members are guides for our students on their career path as they navigate their college and educational experiences during their time at the College.

Key Responsibilities

• Share industry-related knowledge, expertise, and passion with the students
• Evaluate and post grades in a timely manner
• Support the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience
• Respond to student inquiries and provide feedback to students in a respectful and timely manner
• Teach at the Winnipeg Robertson College campus
• Evaluate student performance fairly, promptly and consistently.
• Record student attendance and grades
• Act in a manner that upholds the professional expectations and standards of Robertson College
• Develop and maintain a supportive learning community
• Deliver course content from the Winnipeg campus as well as using Brightspace/D2L Learning Management System (LMS)
• Deliver instruction that meets program objectives as set out in the curriculum
• Provide guidance and support to adult learners
• Collaborate with other teams (Student Services and Support, Practicum and Career Services, Academic Department, etc.) to contribute positively to the student experience

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training programs for professional and educational purposes an asset
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the Business field
• Masters degree OR Professional Designation required.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (D2L preferred) an asset

LOCATION AND HOURS OF WORK

This position will be located at the Robertson College Winnipeg campus (in-person).

Each course will take approximately 20 hours per week to instruct, though this can vary.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: $37.00-$45.00 per hour
