Russel Metals Inc. is currently seeking an individual for the position of Inside Sales Trainee in our Grande Prairie, AB location.

Job Responsibilities

• Liaise with purchasing department to ensure sufficient product is available to meet customer demand.
• Ensure outstanding customer service is provided by developing rapport and strengthening relationships with all customers.
• Identify slow moving products to establish targets for reduction.
• Grow the revenues and the profits in accordance to the business plan.
• Ensure that sales productivity continually improves.
• Monitor, evaluate, and make recommendations with respect to lost sales opportunities to continually improve upon sales results.
• Administrative tasks as assigned.
• Identify and maximize all sales and market development opportunities.

Job Requirements

• Strong analytical, time management & organizational skills.
• Effective communications and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to interact with others
• Excellent attention to detail

Preferable

• Previous sales experience within a manufacturing environment
• CAD & blue print reading would be an asset
