We are seeking, for one of our client in Financial Field, an experienced IT Manager to lead their technology operations. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining their on-premises systems, networks, and security infrastructure. You will lead the organization’s IT security and regulatory compliance audits, manage cybersecurity posture. You will coordinate the IT team, projects, and resource allocation, build relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Infrastructure Management
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the effective management of IT assets, including procurement and licensing.
- Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and operation of all on-premises servers, networking equipment, storage systems, and related infrastructure.
Security and Compliance
- Regularly assess and monitor the network, systems, and applications for vulnerabilities, promptly addressing any security incidents or breaches.
- Develop and implement robust security measures, policies, and procedures to safeguard sensitive data, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
- Provide support for regulatory audits of the organizations and its service providers
Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Manage and resolve IT help desk requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Provide hands-on technical support to employees, assisting with hardware and software installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
System Administration:
- Maintain system documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights for various systems, ensuring data integrity and privacy.
Technology Planning and Strategy:
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, evaluating their potential benefits and making recommendations for adoption to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with the company's goals and objectives, prioritizing projects and initiatives.
- Providing support and managing corporate systems and infrastructure. This includes:
o Virtualized Server Environments (required)
o Storage, backup, replication (required)
o Office365, Azure, Endpoint Manager (required)
o Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory
o Proficiency in scripting languages such as Batch, PowerShell, and VBA is required
o JavaScript, PHP, Python would be an asset
o Familiarity with SQL and SSRS development
o Network and security appliances
- Proactively monitoring of overall system health, anticipating potential issues
- Managing your own projects, coordinating those of the IT department; completing them within the defined scope, providing regular progress reports to Management
- Perform Technical Audits and Analysis
- Develop, Test, and Maintain the Business Continuity Plan
- Developing and maintaining systems-related procedures, processes, and policies
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in system administration, security protocols, and data protection measures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong knowledge of on-premises infrastructure management, including servers, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Proven experience (6 years minimum) as an IT Manager or similar role, preferably in a financial services or regulated industry.
