At the DI, we focus on providing a person’s basic needs, while doing everything possible to find them a permanent, safe home that meets their individual needs. There is no greater contribution you can make to another person’s path of recovery and wellness than an ongoing, consistent, positive relationship of respect and kindness. Working in collaboration with the DE&I Liaison and DE&I committee, the Indigenous Program Developer will work to build awareness and cultural competency, support reporting initiatives, and engage with internal and external stakeholders in operationalizing the day-to-day responsibilities and strategic priorities of the role. Program initiatives may include cultural ceremonies, prayer, sharing circles, individual and/or group activities and crafts, cultural events as well as connection with community supports.

Time Commitment

This is a full-time position comprised of normal business weekday hours (8:00am - 4:00pm), however there will be requirements to be available and flexible from time to time outside normal business hours as the need arises. Schedule may be altered at the discretion of management.
