What YOU Will Do

Under the supervision of the Continuous Improvement Manager, the primary role of the Improvement Partner is to manage and execute method and process optimization projects. Client and results oriented, you will be responsible for organizing, structuring, coordinating and participating in activities leading to the development of organizational transformation projects, projects based on the Lean Six Sigma philosophy and culture.

Responsibilities

• Participate in changes carried out by Lean initiatives such as mapping workshops, Kaizen, TOPS initiatives, etc.;
• Perform data collection prior to Kaizen projects;
• Any other related tasks.
• Collaborate in the implementation of the continuous improvement process and support the deployment of the Lean culture;
• Work in collaboration with the various stakeholders;
• Coach and guide teams through the Lean project management process;
• Participate in the development of action plans and support supervisors in the implementation of changes;
• Participate in various meetings;
• Act as a facilitator during work sessions aimed at solving problems;

What YOU Will Bring

• Proficiency in Excel, Visio, Power point, Power BI;
• Sense of responsibility, resourcefulness, and autonomy;
• Fluency in French and English, both oral and written;
• Critical thinking, good observation, and analysis skills;
• Communication, facilitation and listening skills.
• Relevant work experience (3 to 5 years of experience);
• Bachelor's / Technical degree in Building, Civil, Industrial Engineering or relevant degree;
• Lean training, green or black belt, good knowledge of continuous improvement techniques (DMAIIC, Kaizen, problem solving and process optimization with LSS concepts, change management);
• Ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal;
• Effective time management in a fast-paced environment;
• Knowledge and relevant experience in a manufacturing or construction environment (an asset);
