CKX Training is a family owned and operated business that continues to grow and we are looking to add to our team. We offer over 20 safety training courses and travel across all of Ontario from Ottawa to Windsor.
Candidate would report directly to the owners and would be responsible for facilitating a mix of both in-class training and virtual via Teams (a professional space with reliable internet is a must). It is important to note that we do not have a physical office as all training that is not virtual is conducted on-site at customer facilities. Must have the ability to travel which requires a valid drivers license as well as a reliable vehicle. Training offered on a 24/7 basis so candidate would be required to work outside normal business hours and schedule could range from a 7am start to a 10pm start and you must account for travel time. A schedule will always be provided 2 weeks in advance.
As a safety trainer you would be responsible for facilitating courses to clients across all industry types and must apply adult learning principles. Must have at least minimum knowledge in safety equipment (ie. forklift, overhead crane, MEWP) in order to adequately answer questions from participants. All testing documents would need to be scanned and sent to the owner at the end of each session. It would be expected that the candidate would try to upsell other services and products while on-site at customer facilities. When not facilitating a class, candidate would be required to perform standard sales duties which include but not limited to cold-calling and mailers. A strong presence on social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook are a must
