Oversee experienced employees who are providing additional training (Peer Training)

Collaborate with frontline supervisors on employee training requirements.

Provide support to the business leadership group to ensure day-to-day site training requirements are met.

Prepare training modules as per legislation and company requirements.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a mine production environment.

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growing work environment.

Strong knowledge of data management and analysis software (MS Excel and MS Access);

Support the HSE management system development and implementation through auditing,

Provide administrative support for technical writing and document management.

Support data collection initiatives for company, project and regulatory reporting requirements;

Manage the internal accident/incident reporting system and provide support for analysis and

Tracking of incident related data which supports the requirements of corporate reporting

Post Secondary Education in OHS

Previous or current first aid certification

Minimum of 2 years in a OHS position in Ontario

Proficient with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Carry out other duties, as requested by the Safety Training Supervisor or Manager

Strong team player with the ability to organize, prioritize, handle time constraints, and manage shifting priorities

Mastery of sales skills such as selling solutions over price

Knowledge of regulatory agencies & associated standards OSHA, ANSI, & CSA

Detail-oriented and have excellent computer & technology skills, primarily with Microsoft Suite software

Minimum 3 years practical experience operating equipment and training group sessions

Experience in a training environment (3+ years ideal)

All relevant certifications will be discussed during the interview process.

Willing to travel in the GTA

4+ years experience in Hospitality management or operations.

Highly effective facilitation and presentation skills (experience in training and facilitation is an asset)

Enthusiastically facilitate iTrain Courses on and off-site, adhering to iTrain standards, procedures, and course requirements.

Update internal CRM with certifications, notes and scheduling for accurate record keeping.

Ensure detailed record keeping of course participants, certifications, and payment methods.

Build and maintain knowledge base of competitors and consumer/client trends in the marketplace/ industry, integrating this information into strategic recommendations.
