Job Description

Venor is excited to partner with LVL Wellbeing in their search for a Head of Product! Based in Dubai, LVL is expanding its presence into Halifax, Nova Scotia, adding to LVL’s mission of creating a happier and healthier world, right here in Atlantic Canada.


LVL Wellbeing is a digital platform that is designed to help companies and individuals maximize their well-being potential, understanding that wellness is not a one-size-fits-all journey. LVL recognizes that wellness is not just about physical health, but also focuses on the importance of mindfulness and your mental wellbeing. LVL provides access to premium content, events, and programs while empowering teams to collaboratively engage with each other and other community members on their well-being journeys. LVL is currently seeking an experienced and energizing Head of Product who brings proven experience leading product teams, with a balanced approach to product execution and business efficiency.


Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), and working very closely with the CEO, the Head of Engineering, and other department leads, you will lead a small team of designers and product managers, while potentially leading other facets of the company that relate to the success of LVL and it’s member experience. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is energized by building world-class/premium digital and physical member experiences, with an exceptional blend of cleanliness and boundary-pushing innovation.


What you’ll be doing

Beyond being able to work directly with leadership on shaping the LVL Wellbeing product, your regular responsibilities will include:

  • Esprit de Corps – Ensuring the team maintains a constructive, and positive environment where everyone can be proud of the impact and growth they are having within the team, and with each other
  • Delivery & maintenance of features – Working closely with the engineering team to ensure features are tested, delivered, and monitored over time
  • Mentorship – LVL has a young team of all-stars who are now looking for a teammate with experienced expertise who can help them further develop
  • Balance- Helping to maintain a balanced prioritization of product development that accounts for all the various user personas (ex-members, clients, coaches, and champions).
  • Strategy – Working closely with the CIO on developing product strategies and in the development and maintenance of the product roadmap
  • Product vision – Knowing explicitly where we are going and why, while being able to work with stakeholders to help align this vision with their priorities and audiences
  • Communication – Working with the CIO, serve as the primary conduit between all LVL stakeholders on product-related matters.
  • Management – Working closely with the Engineering Manager in setting and progressing through sprints
  • Feature delivery – Enabling a culture of trust where teammates are brought along the product journey through various validation and feedback loops.
  • Product ownership – Owning the product process and delivery of LVL’s vision to help people become happier and healthier versions of themselves
  • Data solutions – Working with the data team to establish success metrics for key features and product experiences.
