Head Of Digital Interaction Design

This role is based in Dubai, UAE (not a remote role)

The Head of Digital Interaction Design contributes to activities on projects, including client workshops, creative brainstorms, and service definition. The Head of Digital Interaction Design owns leading the delivery of retail service design projects on multiple channels and entities, managing multi-disciplinary teams of designers and is responsible for the quality of project deliverables. The Head will be hands on with delivery project work but also comfortable providing design leadership and managing client relationships. This is an opportunity to be part of a team that is creating a positive impact for our clients by creating and scaling our services to make that difference and OKRs to reduce costs, reduce time, increase customer satisfaction, and improve customer success and satisfaction.

The Head of Interaction Design will work with UX designers, UI Designers, Researchers, Service designers, design strategists, Customer intelligence/experience, design architects and data scientists to drive improvements to journeys based on data and evidence. These journeys should be measurable and scalable across multiple projects and entities.

Skills and Experiences:-

• Passionate about finding the right problems and designing the right solutions in a cost-effective manner considering development and business constraints
• Post Graduate in computer engineering / design arts
• Able to work on the often vague to explore possible outcomes and bottom out the well-rounded plan
• Ability to communicate insights in an engaging, visual way to non-analytical colleagues and clearly present these data rich insights so key messages can be actioned.
• Self-starter in taking initiatives and follow through
• Experience in a fast paced, data driven environment: product companies, growing startups.
• 15+ years of design experience and 5+ years of experience in the same or similar role.
• Proven experience developing complex design systems for digital products: mobile and web applications (experience within the FinTech or Banking is a plus)
• Strong analytical mind with a problem-solving approach with good communication skills
• Energetic and passionate with a helpful ‘can do’ attitude
• Proficiency in design systems and tools
• Working effectively with multifunctional team and build good working relationship
