Job Description

We are working with a tech company that specializes in the SMB space and has thousands of customers. They are an industry leader and looking for a head of Sales to work directly with their President and inherit an amazing sales team.


About the Opportunity: Head of Sales


  • Building and continuously refining the existing sales process, while implementing new ones to account for scale
  • Forecasting and tracking sales targets and ensuring revenue objectives are met
  • Navigating successful sales strategies for SMB deal sizes and cycles
  • Actively supporting the sales team on key activities including client presentations, calls, and 1:1 training
  • Reporting to the President
  • Acting as the spokesperson for the sales team - providing market feedback including challenges and opportunities to company stakeholders
  • Responsible for leading the existing and future outreach/sales team
  • Leading a team of BDRs, Account Managers, and Account Executives
  • Leading and mentoring a top-performing sales team
  • Refining and building the market strategy, playbook, sales, comp models, KPIS, etc.
  • Overseeing revenue growth, creating strategies and structure to achieve targets


About You:


  • Experience in an SMB tech environment
  • Experience and passion to lead and motivate the team
  • Must have SaaS experience
  • 5+ years leading sales teams and overseeing GTM strategies
  • Ability to measure and analyze productivity and effectiveness
  • Track record of defining, developing, and supporting a high-velocity sales process
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to build, motivate, and coach sales teams
  • History of leading high-performing sales teams
