Position Overview:

We are seeking a director to take charge of our finance and operations. The role entails managing all aspects of finance and operations (bookkeeping, accounting, tax preparation, accounts payable/receivable, funding, investments, and more). The successful candidate will be organized, diligent, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of operating autonomously, enabling us to grow our business on a rock-solid foundation of financial and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports, presentations, and analyses for executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Streamline and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Financial Management:
• Monitor financial performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and resource allocation to drive operational effectiveness.
• Identify and mitigate potential operational and financial risks.
• Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.
• Operational Excellence:
• Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable,and investments.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Manage our relationships with auditors.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the organization's financial health and sustainability.
• Reporting and Analysis:

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in financial and accounting software.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, CMA, MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Strong financial acumen; experience with financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication.
• Experience (5+ years) in operations and finance.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
