Rifflandia Entertainment - Graphic Designer

We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and production, with experience in creating high-quality designs for a range of marketing materials. The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Creative Director to produce engaging and visually appealing designs that meet project requirements and deadlines. This is a fast-paced environment, and the successful candidate must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to aesthetics and detail.

Scope of Work:

• Create, design, and edit various materials using approved assets within the brand guidelines for print and digital collateral
• Manage and maintain a library of design assets, ensuring that files are properly named and organized.
• Assist in designing the appearance and layout of Rifflandia Magazine, websites, web applications, and apps
• Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
• Ensure that designs are consistent with brand guidelines and meet project requirements and deadlines
• Perform retouching and manipulation of images and or animations
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications, timelines, and budgets restrictions
• Assist in the creation and optimization of content for the website using a variety of graphics, illustrations, animation, and other media
• Join weekly meeting 1x per week
• Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design

Qualifications:

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
• 2+ years of professional experience using using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Keen eye for composition, typography and color theory
• Experience with print production and preparing files for print
• Strong understanding of brand identity and construction
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Copyediting and Html experience is an asset
