Graphic Designer (Digital)

VMLY&R Canada is a forward thinking, innovative agency working on one of the most recognizable brands on the planet – Ford Automotive. We’re looking for a Graphic Designer who thrives on taking an idea and making it different, and engaging. You see things differently and love making others do the same. You bring your uniqueness into your work and thrive on a team where ideas are bounced around and everyone’s thoughts are heard. You’re a collaborator and want to take all the best ideas and combine them to make stellar creative. While your primary focus will be designing for CRM, you can adjust to design for websites, apps and social media.


You Will


  • Be an ambassador for the agency in front of clients, with vendors, partners etc.
  • Be responsible for delivering well crafted, strategic creative solutions for email and direct mail programs as well as owned properties
  • Maintain our commitment to changing consumer behavior through disruptive ideas at all contact points
  • Lead and/or contribute to brainstorms
  • Collaborate with the content team (author, QA, component expert) to get the most out of required assets and design for owned properties
  • Work closely with the Account Team to understand all client business requirements and the Data Team to understand consumer insights
  • Monitor progress of assignments through each phase of development
  • Ensure all work is of the highest possible quality

  • You Have


    • Exceptional skills in MacOS, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite
    • A College/University diploma in design
    • An insatiable curiously about industry, consumer and technology trends
    • 1-2 years’ experience developing digital communications with a focus on CRM (email and Direct mail) in an agency environment
    • A knack for taking information and creating a simplified method to communicate it
