Position Details
- Prepare data, statistical analysis and reports about graduate applications and admissions as requested. Perform other administrative duties as required.
- Assist with the CUPE TA/Marker hiring process for undergraduate courses, including posting, receiving applications, preparing and collecting signed duties forms, contracts, work permits and banking information.
- Update program, course, and enrollment information on university-wide electronic records systems.
- Provide support compiling and reviewing accreditation documentation and assist on implementation and maintenance of relevant administrative policies and procedures.
- Advise applicants on established information regarding programs offered, admission procedure, eligibility, costs, and financial support available.
- Monitor progress records/documents for students registered in the Department’s programs, tracking that program requirements are completed and deadlines are met.
- Business/Office Administration Certificate/Diploma with two to three years’ of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Exhibit attention to detail, and have the ability to adapt to different work environments (online/in-person) and learn new technologies and processes as needed.
- Skills to multi-task, demonstrate initiative, work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and other Microsoft programs.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Previous experience in an academic environment.
