Position Summary

Primary responsibility is the support of the Global Point of Sale data quality process, associated reporting needs, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Quality and availability of the Point-of-Sale data and the associated process impact significant aspects of our business and sales employees including the accuracy and timeliness of sales performance reporting.

The individual will be responsible for the updating, uploading and overall maintenance of Global Point of Sale data, auditing and correcting data quality issues as needed. Using web browser-based tools search for and identify matches of orphaned records to existing customers. Using mainframe and MS Office-based tools search for and identify matches of orphaned records to existing products.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to think critically and exhibit strong problem-solving skills.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

• Goal Oriented – Ability to focus on timebound and critical standard processes and meet stakeholder requirements
• Able to work according to schedule and communicate efficiently and effectively with supervisors and co-workers
• Investigate questions or issues related to data elements and provide resolution in a timely fashion
• Using various technologies and system tools, search for and identify matches of orphaned records to existing products
• Detail Oriented and able to concentrate for long periods of time
• Uploading Global Point of Sale data, maintaining good data quality
• Responsibility for auditing and correcting data quality issues. Audit customer records, decide whether duplicates exist, take steps to cleanse duplicated data

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written
• Ability to analyze, interpret and solve practical problems
• Knowledge of the Chinese language will be an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook
• 1-3 Years related work experience required, Bachelor or Associates Degree preferred
• Experience with an ERP System, Product Management Software and CRM Software preferred
• Detail oriented with the ability to analyze, interpret and solve practical problems
• Familiarity or background in working with SAP Tools preferred
