Job Description

Location: Edinburgh
Rate of pay: £34,000
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday with the occassional evening work
About You
  • The ability to build good working relationships with clients
  • A good understanding of how Hospitality areas operate
  • Passionate in championing the customer
  • Excellent communicating and influencing skills, both internally and externally
  • Recent knowledge of hospitality management
Key Responsibilities
As General Manager you will ensure that client expectations of services are consistently met and developed.
  • To assist in the development of the operations waiting team, making sure that they adhere to standards set out
  • To brief the team on all aspects of the business and to oversee the running of all assigned conference events and hospitality bookings
  • To ensure the day to day hospitality operations is achieved to the highest possible standard.
  • To work with the Head chef to developments menu's in line with client requests
  • To deliver exceptional customer service and levels of attention to detail.
  • To train or provide training to the staff so as to ensure they operate in accordance with the comapny standards including any agency staff that may be required.
  • To ensure that all legislative guidelines are adhered to, including (but not exclusively) The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, the COSHH regulations, within the areas of responsibility.
