General Manager Jobs

Aldera Communications located in St. Paul's, NL is seeking a General Manager. A local ISP, Aldera provides telecommunication services to both residential and business customers.

As the General Manager the ideal candidate requires an understanding of the telecom environment, a background in the design and deployment of networks, and well-rounded business and financial experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage human resources and capital expenditures to generate sustainable growth.
• Plan and implement network build outs into existing and new service areas.
• Develop proposals and identify new business opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers and other partners to grow market share.
• Organize and supervise team members to optimize day to day operations.

Skills & Abilities:

• Experience with business systems including accounting, ticketing, monitoring, and management software.
• Determined and ambitious attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and managerial skills.
• Ability to create and grow a team environment.
• Knowledge of telecommunication design, construction and deployment.
• Understanding of network design & large scale network operations.
