We are looking to hire a Fundraising & Development Assistant!

Just Be Cause Consulting is a rapidly growing philanthropy consulting firm working with many nonprofits all across North America. Our expertise is fundraising, yet we touch on strategy, governance, and communications throughout our work. Our areas of expertise are diverse, from human to environmental and animal causes. We have a broad range of experience and tools to help train our candidates and bring them to the next level.

We seek an assistant in fundraising strategy to train them to become a senior fundraising strategy consultant with all the necessary skills. A person who is highly passionate about the cause, helping others, willingly takes initiative, and is consistently striving to improve results so we can create the greatest impact is the candidate we are looking for. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Applicants will ideally be comfortable in both English and French. Minimally being fluent in English is a must.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication skills, especially written.
• Experience in online research.
• Experience in the philanthropic space in any form. Fundraising and development experience a plus.
• Knowledge of the grantmaking space a major plus.

JOB DETAILS

Contract work: Depends on available work, can start from 5-10h a week to 20h for bigger contracts, will increase as time goes on to a potential full-time schedule.

Schedule: Flexible, remote

Pay: According to experience: 20$/h to 35$/h with rates attaining 50-60$ an hour once you have the necessary skills, experience, and know-how.

Start date: Immediately
