Job Description
We are a fast-moving team looking for a Frontend Software Development Engineer (React) with a passion for creating software and impactful products. We work in small teams in an agile manner. This will require working in a team environment to collaborate with UX/UI designers, DevOps, and fellow engineers to implement innovative for new products.


The ideal candidate has delivered complex single page applications (SPA) and will be comfortable with a variety of technologies and frameworks to deliver exceptional web solutions. We're also looking for heaps of hands-on experience coding and building web applications.


Basic Qualifications:


  • Practical experience working in a product-oriented company, working closely with UX Designers and Product Managers to create amazing user experiences for customers
  • 3-5 years’ experience designing, developing, and supporting complex web applications (SPA) with a focus on React


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with implementing CICD pipelines for a SPA with Github Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Typescript, Javascript, HTML, CSS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Practical experiencing working within an agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Excellent work ethic and desire to learn and take on new challenges
  • Practical experience designing and developing re-useable web components and single page applications (SPA) in React
  • Experience with Jest for unit testing and code coverage reports
  • Proficiency with dependency management systems such as npm or yarn (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with Data Visualization and Analytics platforms (Tibco Spotfire)
  • Experience in clinical, bioinformatics or other health sciences
  • Experience with API gateways or reverse proxy servers (Nginx, Apache)
  • Proficiency with React Router for client-side routing
  • Proficiency with building standardized web components with Stencil and Storybook
  • Experience with Material UI
