Responsibilities of this role is building frontend of the applications, and developing the REST APIs and supporting the apps. As an application developer, candidate is expected to have good analytical thinking, problem solving, good programming/technical fundamentals and eagerness to learn new technologies/concepts. Candidate must be open to accept challenges and suggestions.

Responsibilities:

Design new application portal for configuration, monitor dashboards and client online onboarding process, the clients could be quant traders, risk analysts, application support and development team

Perform systems analysis, Design, Coding, Unit Testing and other SDLC activities

Work with tech leads on the solution and user experience design

Explore existing application UIs, make sure good designs or functions will be inherited in the new portal

Communicate with architectures and the backend developers about requirement and interactions

Follow the security standards, make sure all functionalities exposed to the clients pass the security scan

Strictly follow Client’s engineering standards and ensure these are followed across all modules in the project

Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes

Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

Act as technical advisor or coach to junior members in the team, to make sure the code quality and designs are in align with the project standard

Technology Skills:

Must have Extensive Experience in designing and developing web portals and large-scale intranet/internet applications.

Must have strong hands-on experience of implementing Web application using React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS etc.

Must have experience in SCMs like GIT and tools like JIRA

Agile/Scrum methodology experience is required.

Experience with Flutter/Electron, GraphQL will be an added advantage

Experience with Axure or Sketch will be a distinct advantage

Strong systems analysis, design ability

Qualifications:

Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in web development role

Sense of user experience, especially application monitor or dashboard build-up experience

Experience of UI deployment, version management, continuously upgrade

Experience of container-based application

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
