TELUS Health is looking for a full-time Fitness & Wellness Consultant for the North York/Toronto Area.
Here's the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together
The full-time Fitness & Wellness Consultant will be responsible for teaching a variety of virtual and in-person group exercise classes, promoting health and wellness to client employees, and working onsite 1 to 2 days/week at the client gym facility.
Here’s How

• Facilitate the completion of GAQ screening forms and waivers for new members and annually
• Instructing and scheduling a variety of virtual and in-person fitness classes and monitoring participation
• Reporting of monthly and/or quarterly participation statistics
• Supervision of the corporate fitness and wellness facility 1 to 2 days/week
• Collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders to plan targeted fitness and wellness programming
• Providing wellness programming (i.e. monthly webinars, wellness tips)

Qualifications
You're the missing piece of the puzzle

• Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field is a must
• Energetic, confident, reliable, positive, engaging with a passion for fitness and health
• Personal Training certification is preferred
• Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications
• High degree of self-motivation and initiative
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Current certifications in group fitness and CPR/First Aid/AED
• Permanent resident or Canadian citizen
• Fully vaccinated
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal), presentation, and customer service skills
• Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Fitness or Health promotion
