Job Description


MONTREAL OR ANY MAJOR LOCATION IN CANADA


WSP is currently seeking a Bilingual Coordinator, Absence Management and Wellness to join our WSP Canada Human Resources Team. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Manager and collaborate with the Absence Management Specialists to manage our disability programs. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to


Responsibilities


  • Liaise and communicate with all stakeholders (HR business partners, Insurance representatives, People Managers and Employees) to manage non-complex cases and return-to-work opportunities with a proactive mindset;
  • Actively participate in various absence management continuous improvement projects.
  • Prepare, compile and distribute weekly and monthly earnings reports and files, statistics, dashboards, documents and lists;
  • Manage administrative aspects of disability cases (opening disability file, coordination with payroll, gradual return, etc.);
  • Educate managers on disability process and what to expect during their employee’s absence;
  • Support the Absence Management Manager with wellness related projects.
  • When capacity allows it, take on a limited portfolio of non-complex disability cases across Canada from start to finish ;


Qualifications


  • Strong organizational skills, very well structured and able to pay attention to details;
  • Focus on providing exceptional customer service, with excellent communication and listening skills as well as empathetic attitude;
  • Adaptability, flexibility and strong teamwork skills;
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload, take initiative and manage multiple tasks with little supervision;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French;
  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years of experience in disability management across multiple provinces in Canada;
  • Able to prioritize tasks to comply with WSP’s customer service standards and best practice guidelines;
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in a relevant field (HR/Industrial Relations, Management, etc.);
  • Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Ability to use various computer programs with ease;
  • Demonstrate professionalism, good judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive data
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks independently;
  • Excellent proficiency in using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
