Fire Service Supervisor Jobs

Our client, a highly respected market leader in the fire safety and security alarm industry, has a rare opportunity for a Fire Service Supervisor to join their team in Burnaby, BC.
The Fire Service Supervisor is to oversee the Installation and Preventative Maintenance Division of the branch, drive process improvements and deliver superior customer service while mentoring the team in the field.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide leadership and support in maintaining EH&S policies, documentation along with conducting audits and training
• Ensure Technicians are trained on procedures; conduct site visits to assist Technicians
• Ensure Technicians are scheduled effectively and working efficiently to achieve revenue and margin targets approved by senior management
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to technicians and inside service staff

What You Bring To The Table

• Excellent communication skills with an ability to convey a message in an organized, clear, and effective manner
• Goes beyond job requirements to seek opportunities and generate ideas for improvements
• Must have previous experience in the Fire industry
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective at building relationships - with a strong client service orientation
• CFAA/ ASTT Certification preferred
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Working knowledge of codes applicable to the provincial standard including Fire codes, electrical codes, building codes, and applicable CAN/ULC and NFPA standards desired
