This encompasses a wide range of areas, including Food Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance/Facilities, Administrative, and Care Services. Your primary responsibility will be to provide effective leadership and administration, driving key performance improvements across all aspects of operations. This includes managing budgets, controlling expenses, enhancing revenue generation, maximizing occupancy rates, ensuring compliance with Accommodation Standards and PIR Standards, and fostering the development of a high-performance team. What You Will Do:


  • Collaborates with third-party vendors to maintain quality standards for food and housekeeping throughout the community.
  • Manages contracts and ensures vendors deliver services that align with AgeCare's standards.
  • Responsible for fostering a safe and high-quality environment for residents and their families, promoting resident-centered care.
  • Oversees adherence to AgeCare guidelines in managing the approved budget, takes accountability for any budget variances, and effectively manages costs within budget parameters.
  • Implements strategies to maintain high occupancy rates and actively promotes the site in a positive manner.
  • Identifies, assesses, and monitors potential risks to service continuity, specifically related to non-care aspects. This includes evaluating housing, hospitality, environmental, and facility risks.

What You Bring:


  • Proven leadership skills in managing a team of 15 or more individuals, including senior supervisory level personnel.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective communication in all job-related aspects.
  • Registered Professional Nurse with current registration with BCCNM.
  • Demonstrates effective time management capabilities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships.
  • Ability to work independently with flexibility, personal integrity, and collaboration with senior management.
  • Must be able to provide a complete and current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check, including a Criminal Background Check, or be willing to obtain one.
  • University degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management preferred.
  • Recognized degree or diploma in Nursing required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
