Sunrise Farms is a group of companies with primary focus in the poultry industry.
- Document management: conduct research; prepare correspondence, expense, and statistical reporting; create reports and presentations
- Act as a virtual assistant and perform other duties as required
- Event planning: Engage in planning for corporate events including staff holiday parties, summer picnics, and various other employee events
- Manage various databases
- Coordinate virtual and in-person meetings, taking minutes as required
- Manage complex and constantly changing calendars, schedule and recording meetings, and appointments.
- Prepare and edit information products, presentations, and reports
- Prepare and submit detailed expense reports; reconcile complex statements
- Participate in meetings and learning events, engage in team initiatives and projects and provide short-term backup support for colleagues
- Research and organize data to represent senior management, which may include directors, executives, and committees
- Serve as the point of contact for general communications,screening phone calls, emails, mail, and visitors; route and resolve information requests
- Use technical tools and software such as Microsoft Office Suite, especially text processing software and spreadsheets.
- Communicate effectively and perform and react well under pressure or ambiguity
- Value teamwork while capable of working independently
- Organized, with superb attention to detail and a strong ability to execute
- Effective with time management and able to quickly shift tasks and priorities as needed
- Effective at working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, changing environment while remaining flexible, proactive, positive, resourceful, and efficient

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; associate degree in business administration is preferred
- Comfortable with routinely shifting demands
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 2-3 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience is required; direct business experience an asset
- Working knowledge of general office equipment
- Minimum three years as an administrative or executive assistant
- High degree of attention to detail
