- Manage, train, mentor, and lead a large, geographically dispersed document control team. Manage staffing and training requirements.
- Coordinate and assist in the development of project objectives/plans, quality control standards, contributing to training programs, and assisting in the planning cycle.
- Accountable for the management, organization and maintenance of information in an electronic document management system.
- Enforce and optimize document control processes for maximum efficiency and quality.
- Provide input and assess the integrity of applications in accordance with user requirements and application demands.
- Prepare communications, and deliver awareness sessions and presentations related to document control.
- Interpret client policies/procedures and communicate/advise management on the impact to document control program.
- Collaborate with other functions to define and refine processes, provide solutions and recommendations for success.
- Work closely with client document control team.
- Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems.
- 10+ years of document control experience including demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in virtual and classroom style training and conducting demonstrations and presentations to large groups preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements.
- Experience working on large complex projects, ideally in engineering and construction, design/build.
- Assertive and confident to communicate at a senior management level.
- Aconex experience is an asset.
- Outstanding communication and relationship building skills.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Able to perform complex document control duties demonstrating problem solving skills in a proactive manner.
- Competency in continuous improvement, change management, and a flexible approach.
- Strong leadership skills, decision and problem solving ability.
