Email Designer Jobs

Notion Studios is looking for an intermediate to senior-level Email Designer who loves design as much as they love [insert pet, favourite human, can’t-live-without-food here].

Our ideal candidate is someone we can depend on to roll up their sleeves and dig into all kinds of email design craft, providing guidance and leadership on best practices for designing email, and pushing the limits of what you can do in an email.

You’ll be responsible for solving email design challenges and problems with forward-thinking solutions and driving project success. You’ll be updating proofs, laying out English and French content and transforming simple visual ideas into elegant and engaging emails that include graphics and animations. You’ll be working cross-functionally with a team of clever, kind and creative people who aren’t afraid to have fun. (Of course, we work hard, too.)

• You are a natural when it comes to email layout and design.
• You thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and work well within a small team to accomplish big projects.

You also have:

• Experience designing and creating motion for animated gifs (After Effects, Photoshop)
• Experience working at an agency or email marketing team
• Working knowledge of Word (and Microsoft Office Suite)
• Expertise in modern design software (Adobe CC, Sketch, etc.)
• Bonus: Email coding skills

What you’ll do:

• Revise artwork based on marked up changes
• Work closely with the Creative Director, Senior Designers, Development Team, Project Team and Account Team
• Craft digital designs and layouts while finessing and finalizing all sorts of digital assets
• Create French versions from provided content
