Job Description
Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, Electrical Engineer to work directly for our client located in Bowmanville, ON. If you are an Electrical Engineer or equivalent and have previous experience with industrial controls design, we want to heat from you. Apply today!
  • Required Availability: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Location: Bowmanville, ON
  • Pay Rate: $60k-$75k/year depending on experience
  • Job type: Full-time | Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of drawings for control panels for equipment used in material handling
  • Design of new machine control systems including specification and selection of remote sensors.
  • PLC and Microcontroller programming.
  • Complete development of new HMI from conception thru to production drawings.
  • Trouble shooting (by phone) electrical related problems with both new and existing installations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Applicant may be an Electrical Engineer or equivalent
  • Previous industrial controls design experience (relay logic, PLC and microcontroller based)
  • Comprehensive understanding of Industrial and Commercial Electrical systems
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 20110+, Microsoft Office 2010+
  • Excellent English communication skills (Oral and Written).
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Controls programming experience (PLC - ladder logic: Microcontroller - C/C++, Python, (ASM is not a requirement but would be a definite asset)
