About Brim:
Brim is an established fintech company based out of Toronto. Brim built a credit card infrastructure and digital platforms to bring much needed innovation to the cards space in Canada. Brim’s tech stack merges the two verticals of Credit Cards and Rewards/Loyalty in real-time. Brim’s infrastructure is live at all merchants worldwide. Since launching our first suite of credit cards in Canada in mid-2018, we continued to grow our presence, rolling out Brim’s B2B platform and partnering with Financial Institutions, FinTech's and large corporates to rollout market leading product platforms.
What is the Opportunity:
We are looking for an Experienced Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate would have an eye for clean and artful web design and have superior user interface design and skills. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection between Brim’s Product Development, Sales, Management teams, and our customer-facing teams. In particular, the role will focus on our client and partners including financial institutions and FinTech's at large; to build awareness of our solutions. Your work creates the foundation for confident, accurate and compelling interactions with clients and other stakeholders at the appropriate level of specificity and depth; to maximize impact for Brim’s Position in the Financial Industry.
Main duties:
The following duties below combine marketing, advertising, and e-business marketing managers.
This Candidate may perform some or all of the following duties:
- Utilize data and analytics in making design decisions.
- Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the various projects including Web site, social media, Apps, etc.
- Collaborate with UX, marketing, engineering, and other teams.
- Plan, design, write, modify, integrate, and test design projects.
- Prepare mock-ups and storyboards.
- Create, optimize and maintain database content for the design projects using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software.
- Produce design assets for use in social media and marketing channels.
- Design page layouts and templates.
- Consult with clients to develop and document design requirements.
- Take ownership of design projects.
- Work with front-end web developers to deploy designs.
- Develop and maintain consistent branding.
- May lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop graphics, content, capacity and interactivity for respective projects.
- Select and prepare imagery.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent time-management and analytical skills
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
- Must have 3+ years of experience working in the financial services industry
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma) Experience with HTML
- Awareness of UI/UX principles Familiarity with digital photo editing
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of formats
- Social media and email marketing experience
- Experience working with suppliers and public relations to design 3D models to promote exhibitions Experience in executing multi-channel campaigns across the customer lifecycle and channels
- Strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography
- Must have experience working with large brands in marketing and graphic design
- Must have 20+ years of experience in graphic design including 5+ years in web design
- Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
Educational/Language Requirements:
- Given Brim’s global exposure-Fluency in any other language other than English is a bonus
- A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, communications or business or completion of a college program in computer science, graphic design, Web design or business is required.
- Certifications in global awards is recommended
Additional Information:
Salary: $70,000 Annually
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday (40 hours)
Work Environment: 100% REMOTE
