Php Developer- E-Commerce Jobs

It is a Full-time Permanent position with a client located in Vaughan ON.

Please note that this position is ONSITE - Monday to Friday .

The position is responsible for developing and maintaining the e-commerce sections of our websites. This includes writing code, managing databases, controlling Web applications and software management and security, and managing internet, intranet, and extranet communication technology issues. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a great drive and genuine passion for their trade. Knowledge of modern web technologies such as MySQL, PHP, LAMP is a must.

Responsibilities

• Works with other information systems staff to integrate data from other production systems for Web accessibility, and to interface Web transactions with other production systems.
• Occasionally called upon to maintain code in the LAMP development environment.
• Maintains current knowledge of Web technology and issues.
• Develops and maintains applications that support in-house management of transactional data from the web and from other production systems.
• Develops and maintains e-commerce applications and data-driven areas of other Foundation websites.
• Participates in business needs and process analysis. Assists in the collection of business information reporting requirements and provides needed information.

Requirements

5 Years of development experience in PHP, MySQL, LAMP.

3 years of development experience in Ecommerce websites

Expert knowledge and experience in implementing internet security (Secure sessions, SSL, OAuth, Database security).

Experience working with APIs such as payment gateways, other service and content providers.

Up-to-date knowledge of best professional practices and techniques.

Best work ethics, strong ability to work in a group and independently.
