Job Description

Job Title: Disability Administrator II

Location:CAN, Quebec - Full Time Remote

Work schedule hours are from 7:00 to 3:30, 8:00 t0 4:30 , 9:00 to 5:30, eastern standard time. 37.5-hour work week. Monday through Friday.

Open to working overtime hours if requested.

Administrative work, setting up long-term disability claims, 100% remote open to Ontario province and Nova Scotia province.

Prefer candidates that have analytical thinking, good attention to detail, and mathematical skills.

We are seeking an individual with the ability to grow and change with our dynamic business and who enjoys working in a team.

The role will be responsible for setting up long-term disability (LTD) claims within tight deadlines.

• Supporting Disability Case Managers on a variety of tasks

• Providing customer service by phone and email

• Administrative duties such as follow-ups with claimants and doctors' offices for disability paperwork

• Data entry

• Handling emails within group email inboxes

• Basic Reporting

• Ad hoc administrative assignments

• Post-secondary education (college or university level) is an asset

• Strong mathematical skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• 2 years minimum experience working in an administrative role is considered an asset

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset

• High rate of accuracy

• Strong PC skills with experience using Microsoft Office 365, especially Outlook, Word and Excel

• Excellent organization, prioritization, and planning abilities

• Adaptable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Fast learner who is proactive and takes initiative

• Able to work independently as well as within a team

• Knowledge of medical terminology an asset

• Analytical

• Ability to probe, investigate discrepancies and resolve issues

• Tact and diplomacy

• Strong influencing and negotiation skills

• Must be flexible and able to cope with high workload

Description:

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Supporting Disability Case Managers on a variety of tasks

Managing mail distribution as required

Providing front line customer service by telephone

Accountability for administrative duties and follow ups with claimants for disability paperwork We are seeking individuals with the ability to grow and change with our dynamic business and who enjoy working in a team environment.

Qualifications As the preferred candidate, you will possess:

Post-secondary education (would be an asset ).

Minimum 2 years previous experience in an administrative/clerical role (would be an asset).

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

Solid office administration skills.

strong customer service experience in a demanding environment.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Analytical skills with a close attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Deadline driven Additional helpful attributes: Insurance claims knowledge or experience.

Knowledge of Anatomical and Medical terminology.
