What role will I play?


As the Digital & Print Designer, you’ll partner with team members to create marketing campaigns from concept to delivery across a variety of channels. This is a fast-paced, changing environment where every day brings something new, and innovative ideas are encouraged. Your contributions will help evolve the customer and advisor experiences through simplified and intuitive campaign design, putting the client’s needs first by providing the right tools and solutions to facilitate a positive experience. And you’ll perform all of these tasks in a squad setting, consulting on the very development of campaigns, participating in user testing, and making data-driven decisions.


As the ideal candidate, you should be able to efficiently combine creativity, functionality, and technology to produce eye-catching and informative content. You’re a confident, hard-working, problem solver that thrives in a highly collaborative environment. You have a strong interest and experience with brand identity, design systems, art direction, digital design, and direct marketing campaigns. In this role, organizational and technical skills are key, and all candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of design software programs.


As a Digital & Print Designer, You Will


  • Ensure consistency in designs and content across all company platforms.
  • Work with external digital platform partners to oversee the smooth implementation of new assets.
  • Ensure that all designs align with the brand image, style guides, and meet usability and website standards.
  • Assist in presenting design ideas to all the relevant stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in professional digital & print design.
  • Implement feedback into final designs.
  • Prepares final files print, or for HTML programming, for appropriate medium.
  • Responsible for archiving and updating graphic files.
  • Design, produce, and manage interactive digital content, including email templates, social media, and promotional artwork etc.
  • Review product positioning and online marketing content to identify room for improvement.
  • Apply direct marketing best-practices to design for direct marketing print campaigns.
  • As required, prepares files for AODA compliance.
  • Keeps abreast of current trends and the latest technological advances.


As The Digital & Print Designer You Have


  • A portfolio of previous design work to showcase experience and creativity.
  • Solid knowledge of design software programs, such as Sketch, InVision, Premier Pro, After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A team-player mindset with exceptional organizational and technical skills.
  • A proven experience in a professional design role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in design, digital design, or a related field.

Salary & Benefits


The annual base salary for this role is listed below.


Primary Location


Waterloo, Ontario


Salary range is expected to be between


$55,125.00 CAD - $91,875.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
