Job Description

Freshslice Pizza, Canada's fastest-growing B.C. based pizza-by-the-slice chain, is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Manager. We are looking for a highly organized, digital savvy individual with exceptional communication skills and excellent time management abilities. The successful candidate should have a demonstrated understanding of the digital marketing landscape and a strong commitment to maintaining a consistent brand voice across all marketing activities for specific target audiences. The ideal candidate will exhibit critical thinking skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize social media management tools to streamline content scheduling, publishing, and engagement tracking.
  • Set up and monitor tracking systems to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and generate actionable insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging digital marketing channels, and provide recommendations for incorporating them into the company's marketing strategies.
  • Establish, maintain, and strengthen the organization's brand identity across all digital media platforms.
  • Monitor and optimize advertising budgets to ensure cost-effective campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design team to coordinate and curate compelling content that aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
  • Plan and execute display, search and social media campaigns, including ad planning and buying, to optimize reach and conversions.
  • Manage and execute content strategies across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop innovative strategies, generate new ideas, and delegate monthly tasks effectively.
  • Prepare regular reports on key digital marketing metrics and present findings to the management team.
  • Drive brand growth and customer engagement through effective SEO best practices and email marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, content creators, and developers, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and a seamless user experience.
  • Devise and execute paid media strategies on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms to drive conversions and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Analyze competitors' strategies and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategic digital marketing initiatives and activities to drive brand awareness and increase customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with social media management tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (essential).
  • Creative mindset with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Proficiency in gathering and analyzing large amounts of data to derive actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Proven ability to manage resources effectively, including advertising budgets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills across various channels and media types.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and growing brands and follower base on social media platforms.
  • Expertise in email marketing strategies, including segmentation, automation, and conversion optimization.
  • Minimum three years of experience in digital media buying and analysis, preferably in the food or restaurant industry.
  • Proficiency in all major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, WordPress, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, and SEO planning and execution.
