Job Overview:
Toys R Us Canada is hiring an Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing. This opportunity will allow you to work within some of the most exciting categories of business, retail, and Toy, Baby and launching a new home brand, rooms + spaces, opening summer 2023.
The Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing supports the marketing team with a specific focus on digital and media, working with our agency partners, vendors, and internal colleagues and partners to execute our digital marketing strategy and support our digital mandate. He/she will drive our company's digital marketing efforts and optimize campaigns to achieve maximum performance and return on investment (ROI).
You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies across various online channels to attract and convert customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze marketing data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, insights, and areas for optimization. Continuously monitor and evaluate campaign performance to ensure goals are met.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and web development, to create compelling and effective marketing assets.
- Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies across multiple online channels, such as search engine marketing (SEM), paid social media, display advertising, affiliate marketing, and email marketing.
- Understand and drive analysis to prove the efficacy of media buying strategies for KPIs (LTV, MRR, CAC, ASP, etc.)
- Directly manage the relationship with partner digital agencies and digital media channels such as Google, Facebook, etc. to drive results and thought leadership through strategic partnerships.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to inform campaign targeting and messaging strategies.
- Manage consumer journey, and continuously optimize in pursuit of ever +ROI.
- Build and lead a high-performing team as well as extended internal & external agency relationships.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in performance marketing. Share insights and recommendations with the team to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Define, develop, and manage a performance marketing roadmap including A/B tests, incrementality tests, and spend scaling tests on campaigns online and offline.
- Monitor, measure and report on campaign performance, budgeting, and conduct ad hoc analysis to refine strategies.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for driving results and continuous improvement.
- Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and landing page optimization.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas, insights, and results to stakeholders.
- Creative and strategic thinker, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Proven work experience as a Performance Marketing or in a similar role, with a track record of driving successful digital marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of performance marketing channels, platforms, and tools, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms.
