Digital Marketing Specialist Full-time

VA Capital, one of the best commercial mortgage firms in Montreal, is looking for a talented and creative Digital Marketing Specialist to manage, create and publish high-quality content. By creating and distributing marketing content in both online and offline media, and by participating in marketing events, the ideal candidate will continue building our brand awareness.

About VA Capital:

VA Capital (AMF License # 606538) is a leading commercial mortgage firm in Quebec specializing in conventional and CMHC insured loans for all asset classes, including multi‐family, office, retail, industrial, land, and hospitality. The growing VA Capital team consists of 5 commercial originators with extensive banking backgrounds and 6 underwriters/funders. Exceeding a combined 85 years of industry experience and over 20 billion dollars in completed transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage VA Capital's social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube);
• Website management;
• Create and distribute e-blasts and social media engagements (graphics, videos, audio) as part of email campaigns;
• Organize events, create merchandise, and collaborate with vendors;
• Assist with the creation of presentations, unique marketing materials such as flyers, reports, brochures, and transaction announcements;
• Optimization and management of the CRM system;

The candidate will:

• Should possess good time management skills, respect established deadlines and communicate priorities/expectations to various team members;
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals; and
• Be a detail-oriented yet highly responsive multi-tasker who loves a good challenge;
• Has a proven ability to effectively work with internal teams to complete assigned tasks and projects within proposed timeframe;
• Must have strong customer support orientation, demonstrate professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
• Should work independently, deliver client-ready work, and follow through on assignments with minimal direction;

Qualifications:

• Social Media managing (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
• SEO basics
• Experience in content creation;
• 0 to 2 years of experience in related field;
• Passion and/or experience in the real estate industry is an asset; and
• Desired but not necessary assets:
• Strong understanding and proficiency of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop);
• Fluency in English; French an asset
• Web development
• Zoho or other CRM suites
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication or other relevant field;
