POSITION SUMMARY

The Web Developer is responsible to the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing. The position is part-time for 15 hours a week. Depending on the candidate selected to fill this position, there might be additional duties which could be assigned by the Marketing Coordinator to convert this position from part-time to full-time. The Web Developer is responsible for maintaining and updating the website. This position has been authorized for remote work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and manage the creation of digital content for the website.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Coordinator.
• Maintain and manage HLGU website.
• Create and edit all forms and form-based content for the University.
• Assist the Marketing Coordinator in designing and implementing the company’s digital. media plans and strategies and achieving digital marketing goals and objectives.
• Establish, update, and improve our brand presence through the HLGU website.

DEPARTMENTAL RELATIONSHIPS

• The position of the Web Developer requires a working relationship with all departments on campus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Must be able to take directions and follow through on tasks. Must possess good initiative and the ability to work without close supervision.
• Must agree to, sign off on, and abide by the standards of employment at -LaGrange University on the yearly contract located in the staff handbook.
• Must be able to effectively plan and meet multiple deadlines and high-pressure timetables.
• Must be a team player who has the good of the organization at heart.
• Experience with web design and content management.
• Must demonstrate excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Must be creative and have excellent communication skills.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING

• Preference will be given to -LaGrange University graduates.
• Ability to write and edit content for the website a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in web development.
• Preferred to have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. A degree with emphasis in web design or digital media is preferred. Portfolio of past work is requested.

Skills:

• Hands on Vue.js, Node JS, HTML5,CSS.
• Hands on AEM Templates and Components .
• Review of Code and Design Knowledg
• Experience of Implementing AEM with Slightly
