About The Team
We are a group of generalist programmers and C++ specialists, working together to democratize the creation and extension of algorithms in the RapidResponse platform. We are a fast-moving, collaborative team, and each of us is passionate about what we do. Would you like to join us on the road to something new, big, and exciting? What You Will Do
Use a variety of modern technologies, and work across the software development lifecycle from development through build and into testing and test automation. You will:

• Collaborate as a core member of our development team and across the organization
• Support a variety of special projects as needed
• Develop high quality, well-crafted code that delivers value to our customers
• Test the work of other team members and develop automated tests

What We Are Looking For

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent program
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for writing well-crafted, maintainable, robust, unit-test covered code
• Someone who actively engages and values working collaboratively
• 3+ years of industry software development experience, preferably on enterprise-scale products
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and other core software concepts
• A willingness to learn new technologies and development approaches
• Ability to quickly grasp, prototype and communicate new technical ideas

Generalist

• Professional development experience with a variety of programming languages including Java/C#, Typescript, and others

C++ Specialist

• Professional development experience with C++
• Knowledge of C++ STL containers

Things that Would Definitely Help

• Experience with design patterns
• Experience building tools for developers (e.g., SDKs)
• Experience working with cloud platform
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, and Maven or Gradle
