Job Title: Firmware Engineer - Screen-Free Gaming Console

Our extensively tested prototypes have defined all the features, and we are now seeking a talented Firmware Engineer to play a critical role in bringing our groundbreaking console to life. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to creating a positive impact on the lives of children.

As a Firmware Engineer, you will work closely with our hardware engineer and be involved in the hardware design process. Your primary responsibility will be to develop the firmware for our screen-free gaming console, rebuilding the code from scratch based on the valuable learnings acquired from our various prototypes. This role is crucial to the success of our startup, and you will have the opportunity to shape the future of children's gaming experiences.


Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the hardware engineer to ensure seamless integration between the firmware and hardware components of the gaming console.

- Develop and maintain high-quality firmware for the screen-free gaming console.

- Work closely with the software and hardware teams to define firmware requirements and specifications.

- Implement firmware features and functionalities based on defined requirements and design principles.

- Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure firmware reliability and optimal performance.

- Optimize firmware for power efficiency and performance to deliver an exceptional user experience.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest firmware development trends, techniques, and technologies.

- Assist in the development of manufacturing processes and provide support during production.


Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- Solid experience in firmware development, preferably in embedded systems.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++.

- Strong understanding of firmware development methodologies, tools, and best practices.

- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

- Familiarity with hardware design and the ability to work closely with hardware engineers.

- Bonus: Experience with Wifi, radio frequency, NFC, and audio technologies.

- Bonus: Knowledge of hardware design principles and PCB development.
