Java Developer Jobs

• Capability to approach problems as challenges and deal with them positively and constructively.
• Work with onshore and offshore team members from IT and Ops

• Must have significant experience developing applications under an onshore-offshore model
• Must be able to work as an independent developer with no/minimal local oversight
• Code solutions that meet the business requirements in a timely and accurate manner
• Participate in all aspects of the SDLC (analysis, design, coding testing & implementation)
• Analyze business requirements; write functional and minor development specifications

Qualifications: Primary Skills / Must have

• Agile development methodology
• Good knowledge of relational databases [SQL, JDBC, DB2, or Oracle/Sybase] and entity frameworks like hibernate Web containers: Tomcat, Jenkins (or others), Docker: a plus Bash/Shell scripting, Unix GIT
• Strong experience in Web services, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON
• Detail-oriented, ability to turn deliverables around quickly with a high degree of accuracy
• Experience in a financial services/banking industry
• Strong desire to understand and learn domain. Secondary Skills / (not mandatory)
• Strong in Core Java: Java 8 and upper (9/10/11 etc.)
• Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret business requirements and produce functional and technical design documents
• Experience on Spring (Spring & Spring Boot preferably)
• Good time management skills – Ability to prioritize and multi-task, handling multiple efforts at once
