Baby & Rojas Certified Orthodontic Specialists is seeking a full-time, well organized, and energetic Certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our dynamic practice in London, ON.
Baby & Rojas Certified Orthodontic Specialists is a progressive Orthodontic office delivering personalized care to London and the surrounding area for over 20-years.
About the role:
The Certified Level II Dental Assistant is a key member of our clinical team, responsible for providing all aspects of clinical patient care in a professional, efficient, and caring manner. The Certified Dental Assistant is involved in a wide range of patient care activities, including assisting the doctor during appointments, sterilization procedures, setting up the operatories, and x-rays. Expanded duties are an asset but not a necessity.

What you will be doing - key responsibilities:
- Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.
- Demonstrates vision and knowledge of cutting-edge infection prevention and control
- Assist in preparing/setting up and disinfecting of operatories
- Responsible for sterile bay, sterilization and maintenance of instruments, sterilization documents and reports
- Provide friendly and exceptional service to our patients

What you bring – qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community.
- Certified Level 2 Dental Assistant
- We strive to build a strong, long-term partnership with our new team member, in an exciting and positive work environment.
- Orthodontic experience and expanded duties are an asset. Willing to train.
- Knowledge of Ortho2Edge software experience is an asset, but not a necessity
- Dependable, professional, experienced, energetic and detail-oriented team player, with strong leadership skills
