We are looking for Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) and Physiotherapy Assistants (PTs) to provide one on one care in the community/home setting as part of our interdisciplinary care team. Competitive wage starting at $20.81 per hour


This is a Full-Time/Part Time role and hours will be varied.


  • Can be Internationally trained clinician or Registered Kinesiologist
  • Ability to foster independence of the client in the home and in the community
  • Demonstrated understanding and practice of rehabilitation principles and techniques

  • An Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant (OTA/PTA) diploma from an Ontario college program an asset

  • Assists with gross motor, fine motor and balance activities
  • Works independently and as an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team
  • Current First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
  • Interprofessional collaboration with our Professional Practice Research & Education Team
  • Delivers therapy within the Care Plan with respect to Community Health Services, independently or in cooperation with the Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS)
  • Experience working one-on-one as a therapeutic support with clients

We are currently looking for someone to join our dynamic Nursing Team in the role of Clinical Practice Lead. This person will work closely with our provincial Professional Practice Research & Education (PPRE) team and support clinical standards, orientation, and training. They will collaborate with leaders and help align strategic goals, priorities and initiatives set out and defined by our unique patient populations and Ontario Health Teams (OHTs).


We are looking for a Clinical Practice Lead in the Waterloo, ON area.


Participation in the Branch On-Call schedule is required, which includes evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.


  • Responsible for maintaining quality management procedures and practices within the Nursing team and department.
  • Supports, mentors and coaches front line clinical staff while delivering ongoing clinical education designed by the PPRE team.
  • $1500 signing bonus, payable after 6 months of work
  • Promotes and markets Community Health Services and maintains positive public relations.
  • 2+ years of community experience in leading exceptional clinical practice in a community care setting
  • French language skills are an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Performs other duties as required.

  • Vehicle is required and some occasional travel within Ontario is required
